Kenya, our expeditions are led by local experts, with deep wilderness knowledge, and backed by years of guiding experience and internationally recognized climbing and safety training.
Word from the Founder
Hello Intrepid Adventurer,
The wild landscapes of East Africa were my playground growing up on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. I first tried to reach Mt Kenya's Lenana Peak as a Boy Scout at the age of eight, and later worked as a porter and guide.
Those experiences, along with over a decade as a wilderness educator in the mountains of East Africa, the U.S. West, and Alaska, shaped my love for wild places and how we learn from them.
Africa Trekking Company is my way of sharing that world with you. Our trips are about more than reaching summits, they’re about walking through landscapes with respect, learning their stories, and letting the journey change you.
